Huey and Virginia Rowe-Anderson, Leaders
This ministry is an adult segment of the church charged with providing support, fellowship, education and outreach for the maturing adults in our congregation and our community.
The Guardian Angels engage in projects which promote and support our church, schools, and the conference. Growing old is a privilege denied to many.
God’s plan is that old age be the adorning crown of glory in one’s personal life. The word of the Lord shows that old age can have promise, productivity, vitality, confidence and a great balance of happiness and spiritual preparedness.
It is the goal of this department to provide the necessary outlet both physical and spiritual to facilitate the needs of the older population of the church.
Our Objectives are to:
- Improve social functioning and thus encourage meaningful fellowship among members.
- Promote the organization of, and participation in, activities which lead to good physical and mental health.
- Enhance the spirituality of our members.
- Help each member to be an active participant and to feel that he or she is an important and integral part of the church family.
